ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to include the name of the petitioner in the ongoing physical certificate verification process for notification No.03/2022 dated 23.02.2022 in combined Civil Services Group-II A Services by considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.07.2024 within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.By consent of both sides, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.Heard Mr.G.Sakthi Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Panneer Selvam, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. 4.The petitioner had participated and got selected in the process of selection to the posts of Combined Civil Services Examination (Interview /Non Interview post) Group-II Services-Group II-A Services for the year 2022. He was called for certificate verification, which was scheduled on 16.07.2024. However, the petitioner had not appeared for the same due to his health condition. Therefore, he sent a representation dated 17.07.2024 to the respondents to allow him for certificate verification on some other day. Since the same was not considered so far, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 2/4

5.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that due to his health condition, he was not able to appear for certificate verification and hence, he may be permitted to appear for certificate verification in some other day. He further submitted that in a similar circumstances, this Court in W.P.(MD)No. 14016 of 2024 dated 28.06.2024 had directed the respondents to allow the individual/petitioner therein to appear for certificate verification and then pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

6.Since the petitioner has reached the zone of consideration and in the interest of justice, the respondents are directed to call for the petitioner for certificate verification within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and pass necessary orders on merits and in accordance with law.
