2.It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the petitioner is charge sheeted for the offences under Sections 5 & 7(3) of Lottery Regulation Act and Section 420 IPC and even after framing charges, the trial could not be proceeded. Therefore, he filed this petition with the aforesaid direction.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that there are about 6 witnesses and all of them are police officials and they would be produced before the trial Court during the course of trial if directed.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances explained by the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed with a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Madurai to dispose of C.C.No.1051 of 2022, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 13.07.2023 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes/No Yuva 2/4
