ORDER

The petitioner is a minor. He has been added as an accused in Crime No.222 of 2025 on the file of the respondent Police for the offence under Sections 296(b), 118(1), 115(2), 351(3) of BNS and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002. The petitioner, claiming that he is an innocent and he has not committed any offence as projected in the FIR, has moved this petition to quash the said proceedings.

2. When this petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), based on the written instructions, by the Sub Inspector of Police, Ayyampettai Police Station, submits that the petitioner's name has been deleted from the FIR in Crime No.222 of 2025.
