PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for records relating to the impugned notice dated 24/08/2016 in Na.Ka.No.2116/2016/E2 passed by the respondent and quash the same and consequentially directing the respondent to give underground drainage connection to the rice mill of the petitioner situated at Door Number 6, Devipattinam Road, Velipattinam, Ramanathapuram from either of the two human inspection tanks situated at 33 feet or 37 feet within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed, seeking a writ of certiorarified mandamus, questioning the impugned order of the respondent dated 24.08.2016, vide which, the petitioner's request for a drainage connection came to be rejected. The petitioner has also sought for a direction to the respondent to provide underground drainage connection to his rice mill.

2. Heard both sides.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, it is represented by the learned Counsel on either side that both the parties have mutually agreed to permit the petitioner to have the drainage connection with the existing chamber, having size 2'x2'x1.5', available within a distance of 15 meters. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Recording such a submission, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
