Seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.42 of 2020 of Peravurani Police Station, Thanjavur, the present Criminal Original Petition is filed.

2. Today, Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent police filed a status report, in which, it is specifically stated that in the instant case, the investigation is completed and a final report is also filed before the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Peravurani in P.R.C.No.1 of 2024 and the case now stands posted for appearance of the accused on 10.04.2024.

3. Therefore, Mr.Ajmal Khan, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr.H.Mohammed Imran, sought permission of this Court to withdraw the present Criminal Original Petition with a liberty to file a petition to quash the final report.

4. Recording the said submission, the present Criminal Original Petitioner is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
