[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The petitioner has filed this habeas corpus petition seeking direction to the respondents to produce his son, namely, Kannan, aged about 25 years, before this Court and set him at liberty.

2. Mr.J.Madhu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, sought permission of this Court to withdraw the habeas corpus petition, since the detenu has been secured by the respondent - Police and handed over to the petitioner.

3. Granting such permission, the habeas corpus petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
