PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to call for the records relating to the impugned show cause notice of the first respondent in M.C.No.278 of 2022, dated 18.05.2022 and quash the same as illegal.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the impugned show cause notice of the first respondent in M.C.No.278 of 2022, dated 18.05.2022.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the first respondent issued notice on 18.05.2022, to the petitioners and the respondents 4 and 5 for enquiry on 20.05.2022. He further submitted that the petitioners belongs to the B-party and without any reasons, the first respondent is directed the B-party to appear for enquiry and he is pleaded to quash the petition.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that A-Party viz., Rosy and Kennadi are proposed to conduct their daughter's marriage, for that, B-Party did not give their consent for marriage and therefore, A-Party conducted their daughter's marriage in some other church. In view of the above, the proposed enquiry by R1 has become infructuous.

4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 11.08.2022 Internet:Yes./No Index:Yes/no ebsi 3/5
