ORDER

The petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No.93 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent Police, for the offence under Section 115(2) of BNSS r/w. Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s) and 3(2)(va) of SC/ST (POA) Amendment Act, 1989. He has moved this petition to quash the said proceedings.

2. When this petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that after the completion of the investigation, final report was filed before the concerned Court and the same was committed to the Court of Sessions. It has also been taken on file in S.C.No.378 of 2025 on the file of the Principal Sessions Court, Tenkasi. He further submits that the case is posted on 18.07.2025 for appearance of the accused.

3. Since it is reported that final report was committed to the Court of Sessions and the same has been taken on file in S.C.No.378 of 2025 on the file of the Principal Sessions Court, Tenkasi, this Criminal Original Petition 2/4

is closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report, if he is having any ground. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
