The present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining tot he impugned detention order passed by the second respondent in Detention Order No.52/2024 dated 06.06.2024 and to quash the same and direct the respondents herein to produce the body or person of the detenu Vigneshwar, son of Ramachandran, aged about 22 years who has been termed as "Goonda" and now confined at Central Prison, Madurai and set aside the same and set the detenu at liberty.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of G.O.Rt.No.5108, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 29.07.2024, would state that the impugned detention order has been revoked by the Government. 2/4
3. In view of the same, nothing survives for further adjudication. This Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
