2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner / defacto complainant that on a complaint given by him, the second respondent Police have registered a case against the accused alleging that the accused have committed offence of cheating and misappropriation. However, the police are not completing the investigation.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on the other hand submits that the accused in this case was arrested and produced before the Court and so far, eight witnesses were examined and the further investigation is in progress and that soon after completion of investigation, a report under Section 173 of Cr.P.C. would be filed. The same is recorded.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the police to complete the investigation and file a final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of order.
