ORDER

The petitioner claims that she has purchased a property in Survey No.99/44A to an extent of 5.82 cents situated at No.1/199D, Sakthi Nagar, Chinnakalaiyamputhur, Palani Taluk, from one Dhandapani in the year 2019 and she is in possession of the property. While so, one Nehru claims that the property belongs to him and he got the property through a registered Will. Since the petitioner was cheated by the said Dhandapani, she has lodged a complaint against him before the respondent Police and also filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent Police to take action on her complaint dated 06.06.2025.

2. In the event, if the petitioner was cheated, she has to workout her remedy only before the appropriate Civil Court. The respondent Police are not supposed to interfere in the civil dispute between the 2/4

parties. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to issue any direction, when the petitioner is having an alternative remedy before the appropriate Civil Court.

3. Therefore, this Writ Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to workout her remedy before the appropriate Civil Court. No costs.
