2.The private respondents herein represent the villagers. There is a traditional temple in the village. The petitioner was originally officiating as priest. Difference arose between the administrator of the temple and the petitioner. Thereafter, the petitioner was not associated with the temple. But he has constructed an independent temple in his patta land. The petitioner has moved this Court for restraining the private respondents from interfering with his right to celebrate festival.
3.If the petitioner wants to have public worship in the temple built in his patta land, then, the petitioner has to get permission from the District Collector. Without doing so, the petitioner cannot run any temple. I am not in a position to grant the relief sought for. But I make it clear that there will not be any prevention of the petitioner from doing his individual worship in the petition mentioned temple.
4.With this observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
