Respondent in both the Writ Petitions PRAYER in W.P(MD)No.24064 of 2016: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to sanction educational loan for enabling the petitioner's son V.Hari Om Kumar to continue with his studies of B.Tech(Petro Chemical Engineering) at Bharathidhasan Institute of Technology(BIT Campus), Anna University, Trichy, on the basis of the petitioner's loan application, dated 26.07.2016 forthwith, particularly within the time limit as prescribed by this Court.

PRAYER in W.P(MD)No.24065 of 2016: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to sanction educational loan for enabling the petitioner's daughter V.Hari Lakshmi to continue with her studies of B.Tech(Chemical Engineering) at St.Michael College of Engineering and Technology, Kalayarkoil, Sivagangai District, on the basis of the petitioner's loan application, dated 26.07.2016 forthwith, particularly within the time limit as prescribed by this Court.

2. In both the writ petitions, the petitioner seeks for disbursement of educational loan for his son and daughter.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that though such request was made by filing an application in the month of July, 2016 itself, the respondent/bank has not considered the same so far.

4. On the other hand, the learned counsel for the respondent/bank based on instructions submitted that the application of the petitioner, is in process and the same will be positively considered within a short time.

5. Recording the above said submission of the learned counsel for the respondent/bank, both the writ petitions are disposed of holding that the respondent/bank, will pass orders on the petitioner's application to disburse the educational loan positively before the end of this month, as it is stated that the last date for payment of fees falls on 26.12.2016. No Costs.
