The present Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to cancel the illegal registration vide document No.1849/2015 dated 15.05.2015, on the basis of circular letter No.41350/U1/2017 dated 20.10.2017 issued by the first respondent in connection with writ petitioner's property situated at Seelabadi Revenue Village, Dindigul Taluk, Dindigul District in old Survey No.463/1 (new Survey No.463/1C1) having extent of 1 acre 48 cents in the light of the writ petitioner's representation dated 15.07.2021 within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

It is seen from the records that since there was no representation for the writ petitioner on 10.04.2024 and subsequently on 10.06.2024, this Court ordered to post the matter under the caption 'for dismissal' on 21.06.2024 and even today (21.06.2024), there is no representation for the writ petitioner. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed for default. No costs.
