Common Prayer: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to reclassify and granting them patta for their possessed lands situated in S.No.546 and 561 of Thuvarankurichi Village, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District according to law, based on the Petitioners representations, dated 20.6.2016.

situated in S.No.546 and 561 of Thuvarankurichi Village, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District according to law, based on the Petitioners representations, dated 20.6.2016. 2.Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

3.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petitions are taken up for disposal, at the admission stage itself. 4.The grievance of the Petitioners is that the above said representations submitted by the Petitioners to reclassify and granting them patta for their possessed lands situated in S.No.546 and 561 of Thuvarankurichi Village, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District, has not been considered so far. 5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ Petitions and without expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the Petitioners, I only direct the third respondent to consider the representations of the Petitioners, dated 20.6.2016 and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, also by hearing other rival parties, if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, the Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
