PRAYER :- For Bail in Cr No.9 of 2024 on the file of the respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 29.03.2024 for the offence punishable under Sections 376(3), 506(i) IPC and Sections 5 (l), 5(j)(ii) and 6 POSCO Act in Cr.No.9 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, 1/3

seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the accused had committed aggravated penetrative sexual assault on the minor girl and made her pregnant. Hence, the case. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 29.03.2024, hence he may be released on bail. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor strongly opposes to grant bail to the petitioner on the ground that the petitioner committed aggravated sexual assault on several time, due to which, the minor girl got pregnant. 5.Considering the gravity of the offence committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
