Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to take necessary action to measure the land at S.No.178/2 and S.No.178/2A in Thoppampatti Village, Trichy District.

ORDER

The Petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondents to measure the land at S.No.178/2 and S.No.178/2A in Thoppampatti Village, Trichy District.

2.Mr.A,Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

3.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal, at the admission stage itself. 4.It appears that the Petitioner has approached the second respondent on 16.6.2016 and paid certain fees for such purpose. The grievance of the Petitioner is that till date, the land has not been measured.

5.Therefore, without going into the merits of the claim made by the Petitioner, I only direct the second respondent to consider the request of the Petitioner and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, also by hearing other rival parties, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
