Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation/complaint of the petitioner dated 04.10.2016 and initiate suitable action against the 4th and 5th respondents.

This Writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation /
complaint of the petitioner dated 04.10.2016 and initiate suitable action against the respondents 4 and 5 within a time frame. 2.Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 3.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is a Member of Legislative Assembly representing Nagercoil constituency. As a Member of Legislative Assembly, he brings any public issues to the police officials and also government authorities.
4.The grievance of the petitioner is that some of the police officials more particularly, respondents 4 and 5 are behaving strangely and fail to respond to his phone calls and when the petitioner contacted them through phone, wantonly they are not responding to him. In this regard, the petitioner made a complaint on 04.10.2016 to the respondents 1 to 3 for initiating suitable action against the respondents 4 and 5. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner is before this Court with the present Writ petition.
5.Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents on instruction would submit that the officials of the respondents 4 and 5 have strictly warned them for their inaction.
6.Recording the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
