For Respondent : Mr.R.Erottuchamy, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in crime No.1589 of 2020 on the file of the respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who arrayed as A1 and A2 apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Section 379 of IPC r/w. Section 21(1) and 21(2) of Mines and Minerals Development and Regulation Act, 1957, in Crime No.1589 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners said to have illegally transported 11⁄2 units of river sand by using Goods Carrier. Hence, a case has been registered.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police.

4.In view of the order passed in Crl.O.P(MD).No.13334 of 2020 etc., batch, dated 03.09.2020 by the Principal Bench of this Court at Madras, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
