When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has filed the present writ petition challenging the cancellation of temporary promotion and de-promotion. However, subsequently, the petitioner has filed 2/5

another writ petition in W.P(MD).No.11941 of 2020. This Court, vide its order dated 04.01.2023, has issued a direction to the respondents therein to implement the judgment of the Hon'ble Apex Court in respect of regular promotion in the post of Deputy Tahsildar. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition.

2. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
