ORDER

This petition is filed seeking quashment of the First Information Report in Crime No.68 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent herein.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioners.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent would submit that the investigation has been completed and the final report was also filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Devakottai, on 13.08.2020 itself.

3. Since the final report has been filed, liberty is granted to the petitioners to workout their remedy before the concerned Court through appropriate proceedings as seeking quashment of the First Information Report in Crime No.68 of 2020 has now become infructuous.

4. Since the final report has been filed on 13.08.2020, even after the lapse of one year, cognizance has not been taken. There shall be a direction to the Judicial Magistrate, Devakottai, to process the final report, which has been presented by the first respondent herein as per Rules. The compliance report must be submitted to the Registry.

5. With the above direction and liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
