ORDER
This criminal revision is directed against the condition imposed in M.P.No.1 of 2024 in C.A.No.57 of 2024 dated 24.06.2024 on the file of the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Pudukottai. 2.It is pertinent to note that the respondent had filed a complaint under Section 200 Cr.P.C., for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and after trial, the learned Magistrate has passed a judgment convicting the petitioner to undergo two years simple imprisonment and directed to pay compensation of Rs.12,00,000/-. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner preferred an appeal in Crl.A.No.57 of 2024 along with an application to suspend the sentence. The learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, taking note of the legal provisions, has rightly directed the petitioner to deposit 10% of the compensation amount and the same cannot be found fault with. 3.At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner may be given further time to deposit the amount as directed by the appellate Court.
