PRAYER :- Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioners representation dated 30.06.2024 for issuance of consent/NOC by the 5th respondent to perform marriage of the petitioner under the 5th respondent Parish Jurisdiction within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.06.2024 for issuance of consent/NOC by the 5th respondent to perform marriage of the petitioner under the 5th respondent Parish Jurisdiction within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2/5

3. The case of the petitioner is that for performing the marriage of the petitioner and for issuance of consent/no objection certificate from the 5th respondent, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondents. Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

4. I have considered the rival submissions and perused the materials available on record.

5. Without going into the merits or the contentions raised by both sides, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.06.2024 on its own merits and pass orders within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
