Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to conduct the resurvey of the route Madurai Mattuthavani Bus Stand to Fathima Nagar under the Tamilnadu Motor Vehicle Rules, by considering the petitioner representation dated 30.05.2026 and pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice.

ORDER

The writ petition is filed for a mandamus directing the respondents conduct the resurvey of the route Madurai Mattuthavani Bus Stand to Fathima Nagar under the Tamilnadu Motor Vehicle Rules, by considering the petitioner representation dated 30.05.2026.

2. Heard Mr.T.Padmanabhan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Vashik Ali, learned Government Standing Counsel, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. Considering the fact that the representation has been made for re-surveying the route, the writ petition is disposed of in the following direction:-

i. The 2nd respondent shall take up the representation of the petitioner dated 30.05.2026, consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner.

ii. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 3 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the web copy of the order. iii. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
