O R D E R
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second and third respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2025 seeking rectification of the mistake that has crept into the Field Survey Map [FMP] pertaining to the petitioner's land measuring 1 Acre and 92 Cents comprised in S.No.111/1A3A3F situated at Illupur Village and Taluk, Pudukkottai District, within a reasonable time to be fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner is entitled to the land measuring an extent of 1 Acre and 92 Cents comprised in S.No.111/1A3A3F situated at Illupur Village and Taluk, Pudukkottai District. The petitioner has alienated an extent of 7 cents in favour of a third party and is in possession of the remaining extent of land. According to the petitioner, there is an error in the description of the western boundary in the Field Survey Map. Therefore, in this regard, the petitioner has submitted an application to the first and second respondents seeking rectification of the said error. Page No. 2 of 5

Therefore, the first and second respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's application and pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the Field Survey Map has to be rectified, the petitioner is directed to submit an appropriate application to the Assistant Director of Survey and Settlement, Pudukkottai, who shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders at the earliest.
4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
