O R D E R

This petition has been filed to set aside the order passed by the learned Additional District and Sessions Court, Theni at Periyakulam, in in C.A.No.7 of 2016 dated 28.09.2018, confirming the conviction made by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Periyakulam, Theni District, in S.T.C.No.1732 of 2014 dated 20.01.2016.

2.When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on instructions, would submit that the petitioner is reported to be dead and hence, they are unable to produce him before this Court.

3.Recording the above submissions, this Criminal Revision Case is dismissed as abated. The respondent/complainant is permitted to recover the compensation amount ordered by the trial Court as per the procedure stated in Cr.P.C., if not already recovered. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
