*********** [Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus, directing the second respondent to complete the enquiry process in respect of genuineness of verification of the petitioner's Community Certificate as per G.O.Ms.No.106, Adi-Dravidar and Tribal Welfare (CV-I) Department, dated 15.10.2012.
2. Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that enquiry with regard to the genuineness of verification of the petitioner's Community Certificate is pending from 16.10.2015. Now, almost, more than one year and two months have lapsed. Therefore, he has come forward with the present Writ Petition for the reliefs as stated above.
4. Though very many grounds have been raised in the Writ Petition, since the Writ Petition falls under the narrow scope, this Court is of the opinion that it is not necessary to traverse into the entire averments. Therefore, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court directs the second respondent to expedite the enquiry process in respect of genuineness of verification of the petitioner's Community Certificate and complete the same, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
