Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent 1 to 4 herein to initiate appropriate action against the respondents 5 to 8 for having excommunicated the petitioner and other villagers from the Karthigai Deepamn temples festival scheduled on 25.12.2016 at Sri Vinayagar, Sri Muniyappan and Sri Pampalamman Temples at Jallipatti, Velliyanai Post, Velliyanai South Village, Karur Taluk, Karur District and consequently direct the fourth respondent to ensure to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and other villagers to offer worship based upon the representation of the petitioner dated 14.12.2016.
