Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition filed Under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code to issue appropriate order to the trial court to expedite and conclude the trial of the present case SC.No.55 of 2020 pending on the file of the Learned Vth Additional District and Sessions Judge,Madurai in a fixed time frame. ORDER:- This Criminal Original Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the earlier Order of this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.14515 of 2022 dated 12.08.2022, and requisition letter submitted by the Vth Additional District Judge, Madurai vide letter D.No.773/2022 dated 23.11.2022, this Court made the following order.

"Today, this case is listed under the caption for "Extension of Time for Lower Court".

2. It is evident from the records that this Court in Crl.O.P. (MD)No.14515 of 2022 vide order dated 12.08.2022 has directed the learned V Additional District and Sessions Judge, Madurai to dispose of the case in S.C.o.55 of 2020 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

3. The learned V Additional District Judge, Madurai, has submitted a requisition dated 23.11.2022 stating that out of 21 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.14515 of 2022 witnesses, 6 witnesses have been examined and that six months further time may be granted to dispose of the case.

4. Considering the reasons assigned, the learned V Additional District and Sessions Judge, Madurai is directed to complete the trial and dispose of the case within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
