The petitioner seeks for a mandamus to direct the second respondent to dispose patta rectification petition in Na.Ka. A3/3903/2014 within the time fixed by this Honourable Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. Needless to say that it is for the second respondent to consider the patta rectification petition after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Therefore, without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to consider the patta rectification petition and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
