Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to disburse the monthly pension to the petitioner and others, whose names and detail particulars are mentioned in the representation dated 13.06.2016 relating with the payment of pension to the beneficiaries, who are coming under the category of destitute Senior Citizen, Widow and Deserted Women, by disposing the same.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to
consider the representation dated 13.06.2016 alleged to have been given by the petitioner, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. 2.It is averred in the petition that the petitioner is one of the beneficiaries of Old Age Pension Scheme. The authorities concerned have abruptly stopped the pension of the petitioner and therefore she has given a representation dated 13.06.2016. But no action has been taken and therefore the present writ petition has been filed for getting the relief sought therein. 3.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.
4.Considering the nature of the relief sought in the writ petition and also considering the fact that on 13.06.2016 a representation has been given by the petitioner, this writ petition can be allowed.
5.In fine, this writ petition is allowed without costs and the respondents are strictly directed to look into the representation dated 13.06.2016 alleged to have been given by the petitioner and pass suitable order within a period of one month.
