Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India, seeking for the issuance of writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2025 and take action on the petitioner's representation within a time to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner has approached this court with a grievance that the respondent police have not taken action on his complaint. 2.When this petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submits that the complaint of the petitioner has been registered in CSR No.819/2025, dated 25.06.2025. The enquiry reveals that the petitioner has purchased the vehicle under hire-purchase from the 3rd respondent, 2/4

but has failed to make payment. Therefore, the 3rd respondent has taken possession of the vehicle as per the hire-purchase agreement. Hence they have closed the complaint.

3.Recording the above submission this petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to furnish a copy of the closure report to the petitioner enabling him to workout his remedy in the manner known to law.
