Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to revise the petitioner's pay in the post of checking inspector with retrospective effect from 18.03.2013 in terms of G.O.Ms.No.61, Transport Department, dated 30.04.2015 and further directing the respondents to pay him the difference amount in his salary and to pay difference in his retirement benefits including difference amount in monthly pension, gratuity, leave salary, commuted value of pension and all other attendant benefits payable to him from 01.07.2013 to till date together with interest at the rate of 18% per annum.

COMMON ORDER The petitioners seek for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to revise their pay for the above said periods in terms of G.O.Ms.No.61, Transport Department, dated 30.04.2015 and the settlement entered under Section 12(3) of the I.D. Act dated 13.04.2015 and to pay their arrears of difference in salary for the above said periods and also the retirement benefits due to them together with interest at the rate of 18% per annum within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.The learned standing counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petitions itself are taken up for final disposal.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that it would suffice if the representations of the petitioners are disposed of in terms of G.O.Ms.No.61, Transport Department, dated 30.04.2015 and the settlement entered under Section 12(3) of the I.D. Act dated 13.04.2015 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, respondents are directed to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 01.10.2016, 04.01.2016 and 29.11.2016 in terms of G.O.Ms.No.61, Transport Department, dated 30.04.2015 and the settlement entered under Section 12(3) of the I.D. Act dated 13.04.2015 and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petitions stand disposed of. No costs.
