2. The petitioner's application for renewal of his gun license is pending with the second respondent. It is stated that it is the first respondent who normally disposes of such application.

3. Therefore, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the petition mentioned application on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
