ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to issue Natham Jari Patta in her favour in respect of the property situated in Survey No.242/21, with an extent of 3 cents, in Palamputhur Village, Poovathoor Post, Orathanadu Taluk, Thanjavur District, by considering her representation dated 10.10.2024.

2.Heard the arguments of Mr.PR.Boomeerajan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.According to the petitioner, she has been living in the above mentioned property for several years by putting up a residential house thereon. The building stands in the subject property is assessed in the name of the petitioner. Based on the long possession, the petitioner submitted a representation before the second respondent on 10.10.2024, seeking issuance of patta. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.10.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
