ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 120, 406 and 420 IPC in Crime No.397 of 2018. He seeks anticipatory bail. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police.

CRL OP(MD). No.11898 of 2019 Government Advocate (Crl.side) pointed out that at the instance of co-accused, quash petition was filed and interim order was granted in Crl.O.P(MD).No.19321 of 2018 on 29.10.2018, this Court had given a direction that the respondent police shall not proceed with the investigation. Therefore, there is no scope for apprehension of any arrest. As and when the original petition is disposed of it, the petitioner is still having cause of action, he is at liberty to file a fresh application for anticipatory bail. As on date, there is no basis for his apprehension of arrest.
