ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A9, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 04.05.2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 342, 324 & 302 of IPC @ 147, 148, 149, 342, 324, 201, 109, 120 (b) and 302 of IPC, in crime No.190 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused murdered the deceased. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 04.05.2024, hence he may be released on bail.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the investigation is yet to be completed and the Commissioner of Police, Madurai City, Madurai, has passed the detention order in No.38/BCDFGISSSV/2024 on 24.07.2024, under the Goondas Act. Hence, he strongly opposed to grant bail. 2/3

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the nature of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
