ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner and her construction and Engineer Nagarajan and his family members by considering Nagarajan's representation dated 25.07.2020 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents submitted that enquiry was conducted and closed on 05.08.2020.

3. However, the said Nagarajan thereafter lodged another complaint for different set of allegations, alleging that the private respondents 5 to 8 trespassed into his house and disturbed his peaceful possession and enjoyment of the same. There seems to be a civil dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents. Therefore, the relief sought for in this Criminal Original Petition cannot be granted.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to lodge a fresh complaint on the fresh cause of action.
