The petitioner seeks for a mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to direct the 4th respondent to cancel the false patta No.1614 and reinstate the patta No.1133 of Idayathur Village, Ponnamaravathy Taluk, Pudukkottai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 21.07.2016 within a stipulated time.

2. Heard both sides.

3. Needless to say that it is for the third respondent to consider the said representation after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the rival claimants if any and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.

4. Therefore, without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.07.2016 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
