PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents herein to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 02.11.2020 seeking approval to the appointment of the petitioner as B.T.Assistant (Social Science) in the 3rd respondent school from 01.06.2015 onwards with salary and other attendant benefits. ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 02.11.2020 seeking approval to the appointment of the petitioner as B.T.Assistant (Social Science) in the 3rd respondent school from 01.06.2015 onwards with salary and other attendant benefits.

2.It is the grievance of the petitioner that with the relief sought for in the prayer, though she has made a representation dated 02.11.2020 to the respondents, no action has been taken so far. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3.In reply, Mr.N.Shanmugaselvam, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would fairly submit https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.18115 of 2020 that the petitioner's representation, dated 02.11.2020 would be considered on merits and in accordance with law by the 1st respondent, within a period of six weeks.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction:- the 1st respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.11.2020 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order;

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
