The petitioner with a grievance that his complaint, dated 21.06.2025 has not been enquired by the respondent police has approached this Court, seeking police protection. 2.Mr.P.Kottaichamy, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) takes notice for the first respondent and submits that the complaint of this petitioner was enquired in CSR No.186 of 2025 and it was closed as it is a civil dispute. According to the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this petitioner has already filed a suit as against the opposite party before the District Munsif Court, Vadipatti in OS No.153 of 2014 and he has lost the same and the appeal filed by the petitioner before the Principal Sub Court, Madurai in A.S.No.61 of 2023 is still pending. Pending the appeal, he has lodged the above complaint, by referring the decree in O.S.No.153 of 2014. Therefore, the respondent police has not enquired into the complaint of this petitioner and closed the same advising him to approach the concerned Civil Court, where the appeal is pending.

3.Recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to furnish a copy of the closure report to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the Principal Sub Court, Madurai.
