PRAYER: Contempt Petition is filed under Sections 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to initiate contempt proceedings against the contemnors/Respondents and punish them for willful disobedience of the order dated 01.02.2019 made in Crl.OP(MD)No.1637 of 2019. Prayer in CRL OP(MD). 1637/ 2019 :

Criminal Original Petition filed Under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the 2nd respondent to complete the investigation in Cr.No.30 of 2014 dated 02.11.2014 pending on his file and to lay the final report within a stipulated time.

O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent for disobeying the order passed by this Court in Crl.OP (MD)No.1637 of 2019, dated 01.02.2019.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this Court by order dated 01.02.2019, directed the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that as per direction of this Court, the respondent police completed the investigation and filed a report as 'action dropped' and RCS notice was also served on the petitioner on 28.08.2019.

4.Recording the said submission, this contempt petition is closed.
