Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of Cr.p.c to direct the Additional District and Sessions Judge(Special Court for SC/ST (POA) Act Cases), Thoothukudi to consider the bail applications of the petitioners on the same date of their surrender in connection with Crime No.44/2023 registered on the file of the 2nd Respondent.

ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.N.Pragalathan, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar Additional Public Prosecutor for the 1st and 2nd Respondents, this Court made the following order:

This petition is filed to extend the time granted in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.4265 of 2023 dated 15.03.2023 to execute the surety and to surrender before the Court. 2.Heard both sides.

3.Considering the reasons stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner in the affidavit, this petition is allowed and the time is extended by fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, to execute the surety and to surrender before the Court.
