PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to issue direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry into the complaint lodged by the third respondent.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the official respondents. Taking into consideration the nature of the order going to be passed in this petition, notice to the third respondent is dispensed with.

3. The first petitioner is the husband of the third respondent herein, while the second and third petitioners are the in-laws of the third respondent. The grievance of the petitioners is that based on the complaint given by the third respondent due to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/4

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.11676 of 2019 matrimonial dispute, the second respondent is harassing the petitioners. Hence, the the present petition has been filed.

4. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the official respondents, on instructions, would submit that the on the complaint given by the third respondent / wife of the first petitioner alleging harassment, enquiry has been conducted and the second respondent after enquiry closed the complaint as it is a matrimonial dispute. He would further submit that the respondent police has not harassed the petitioners as alleged by them.

5. Considering the fact that already the complaint lodged by the third respondent against the petitioners has been enquired and closed, no furthe order needs to be passed in this petition.
