PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to pass final orders in the disciplinary proceedings pending in Na.Ka.No. 88581/2013 DPC 2-3 dated 15.03.2019 by discharging the petitioner from the charges on the explanations submitted by the petitioner dated 21.11.2019.

ORDER

By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The limited prayer sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to the first respondent to pass final orders in the disciplinary proceedings pending in Na.Ka.No.88581/2013 DPC 2-3 dated 15.03.2019.

3. Since the Disciplinary Proceedings is still pending, it would be appropriate to direct the first respondent to dispose of it expeditiously, within a stipulated time.

4. In view of the above observations, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to pass final orders in the Disciplinary Proceedings initiated against the petitioner in Na.Ka.No.88581/2013 DPC 2-3, dated 15.03.2019, as expeditiously as possible, in any event, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
