Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioners representation dated 06.10.2016 and 01.12.2016 in respect of the temple namely Arulmigu Sree Muthumariamman Thirukoil situated at Thatchapatti Uthapuram Village Peraiyur Taluk Madurai District and to conduct a peace committee meeting among Naicker Aasari Moopar Community people residing at Thatchapatti Village within the time limit fixed by this Honble Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for disposal of his representations dated 06.10.2016 and 01.12.2016 wherein and whereby he has raised some objections with regard to the demolition of portion of the temple namely, Arulmigu Sree Muthumariamman Thirukoil situated at Thatchapatti Uthapuram Village Peraiyur Taluk Madurai District and also seeking for conducting a peace committee meeting among three community people.

This Court at this stage cannot express any view on the claim made by the petitioner except to direct the second respondent to consider those representations and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law and also by hearing the rival parties if any. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
