The petitioner seeks for a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner challenging the order cancelling the gun license.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3.Needless to say that it is for the first respondent to consider the appeal on its own merits and in accordance with law and therefore, this Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner.

4.However, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the said appeal as stated supra within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
