PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the second respondent police to file final report within stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court in Crime No.80 of 2019 on the file of the second respondent police. ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.80 of 2019 pending on the file of the respondent.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.80 of 2019 has been registered for the offences punishable under Sections 454, 380 and 506(i) IPC by the respondent police. But so far, the respondent police has not taken any action on the said complaint. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the investigation on the complaint given by the petitioner is substantially complete and final report will be filed shortly. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/4

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in the case in Crime No.80 of 2019 and file a final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
