PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned list issued by the second respondent in his proceedings NIL dated 31.07.2022 and quash the same as illegal insofar as non inclusion of the petitioner's name is concerned and consequently to direct the respondents to provide weightage marks to the petitioner as per clause 10(b) of the notification issued by the second respondent vide notification No.14/2019 dated 27.11.2019 to the post of Lecturer (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) taking into consideration of the petitioner's qualification and the marks secured in the examination within the period that may be stipulated by this Court. O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed challenging the provisional selection list dated 31.07.2022 issued by the second respondent.

2. In the counter-affidavit filed before this Court, the second respondent has stated that the petitioner is not entitled to weightage marks for possessing the M.E., qualification in Power Engineering and Management. 2/4

3. The petitioner has also not produced any equivalency certificate to substantiate his case that he is entitled to such weightage marks. Therefore, this Court will have to accept the statement of the respondents that the petitioner is not entitled for weightage marks. This Court has also taken note of the fact that the selection process has got completed and appointment orders have already been issued, therefore, at this stage, the question of entertaining this writ petition does not arise.

4. For the foregoing reasons, there is no merit in this writ petition and accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
