ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, who was arrested on 13.09.2021 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 379 of IPC r/w 21(1) Mines and Minerals (Development & Regulation) Act, 1957, in Crime No.952 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that apart from this case, the petitioner has involved in nine cases, in which, three cases are similar in nature. The respondent police has given the data with regard to previous cases which reads as follows.

Kumbakonam West Police Station Crime No.571 of 2010 for the offence under Sections 147, 294(b), 332 and 506(i) I.P.C 8.

Melatur Police Station Crime No.58 of 2011 for the offence under Section 304(A) I.P.C 9.

Pappanadu Police Station Crime No.761 of 2020 for the offence under Section 294(b) I.P.C 3.Considering the antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
